Equipment Repair Services

 
 
 
  Photo-Sonics, Inc. has been producing cameras for over 70 years and we pride ourselves on our ability to provide service and spare parts for the equipment we produce.  We have a fully equipped on-site machine shop, staffed by experienced technicians.

If you need spare parts, please contact us. We have most parts in stock; and if they are not in stock, we can manufacture them as necessary.

If you have a problem with any of our products, please contact us for advice. We will do our best to help you solve the problem, or, if necessary, you can return the equipment to us. 

There is billable examination of all components, usually 1-½ hours, before doing any work. After this examination has been completed, we will give you a firm quote for the repair, and request your approval before proceeding. This policy assures that the repaired unit is 100% operational and as close to the original specifications as possible when the equipment is returned to you.

Please provide us with as many details of the problems you are experiencing with the equipment.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:  
Many of our products are on the U.S. Munitions Control List, which is regulated by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations. These products require special handling when returned to the U.S. for repair or upgrade.  These products include all parts and accessories related to the Tracking Systems, Head-up Display Cameras, Super SVHS-V301 Airborne Video Recorder and the Model 80-1 Film Data Reduction System. When returning this equipment to the U.S., the following statement must be included on all shipping documentation located on the outside of the container: 

U.S. Manufactured Controlled Goods being returned for repair under 22 CFR 123.4. (a) (1)
