Temperature-Altitude
The VSH shall comply with MIL-STD-5400, Notice 1, Para. 3.2.24.1 through 3.2.24.3
The CEU shall comply with MIL-STD-5400, Notice 1, Para. 3.2.24.1 through 3.2.24.3

Humidity: Equipment shall withstand the effects of humidity up to 95% RH at 65° C, 10 cycles,
24 hours per cycle

Salt-Fog (Equipment shall withstand):
Salt Concentration = 5% Temperature = 35°C   Duration = 48 hours

Fungus (Equipment shall withstand exposure to various fungi under the following conditions):
Relative Humidity = 95% Temperature = 35°C   Duration = 28 days

Sand and Dust (Equipment shall withstand the following conditions):
Wind Velocity = 300 to 1750 feet (ft)/minute(min). Concentration = 0.1 to 0.5 gram/ft3 Grain Size = 100 to 325 mesh screen.  Composition = 97% to 99% Silicon Oxide (SiO2) Temperature = 41°C/6 hours and 81°C/22 hours.

Touch Temperature: VSH shall not exceed 40°C when the cockpit average ambient air temperature is 27°C

Design and Construction: Low Temperature requirement shall be -40°C. MIL-STD-5400
